  • Have a safe and happy summer!
    We are closed for construction this summer and the office will be accessible to the public on September 4th.

    If you wish to register for Abbey Lane, please go to Oodenawi Public school (385 Sixteen Mile Drive, Oakville) between the hours of 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. 
    Please check the H.D.S.B. website to ensure you bring all the necessary documentation. Optional attendance will be processed by the Abbey Lane administration at the end of August.

    Speeding and Traffic Calming

    Traffic calming in school zones on major collector and minor arterial roadways

    In May 2018, the town initiated a study on potential traffic calming options for school zones on major collector and minor arterial roadways. In total, the project will treat 20 school sites located across the town.

    • Our Lady of Peace CES – River Glen Boulevard
    • Ecole Forest Trail PS – Pine Glen Road

    At this stage of the project, no specfic traffic calming treatments have been proposed. The objective of the PICs is to allow the project team to gain a better understanding of the issues affecting the project sites and to request public feedback on potential treatments.
